/ Services — Ongoing care ( 07 )

We don’t disappear after launch.

Ongoing Shopify support and maintenance for stores that want to keep getting better: a monthly roadmap, weekly shipping, and honest advice about what’s worth doing next.

Starting at

$2,500/mo

Typical commitment

Month to month

How we bill

Monthly, cancel anytime

( A real month on a care plan )

Most of it happens before you notice.

On loop, every month: we look at last month’s numbers together, ship weekly, and send a note in plain English. If something breaks any day, it jumps the queue.

This month Care log

02 AUGCheckout error on Safari, fixed in 40 min

09 AUGTheme and 6 apps updated on staging, then live

16 AUGGallery rewritten, product pages 1.1s faster

23 AUGKlaviyo winback flow rebuilt

30 AUGMonthly note sent, next up collection filters

/ Scope

What’s covered.

One retainer, the whole store. From $2,500 a month, pause or stop whenever. Stores that grow keep us around because it works, not because a contract says so.

01Fixes and improvements, shipped weekly

02New sections, pages, and features as you need them

03Speed watched like a hawk, app creep kept in check

04Email flows tended and campaigns supported

05A straight answer, even when it’s “don’t build that”

/ Fit

Who needs someone watching the store.

A care plan suits stores where the site matters enough that small problems are expensive and nobody in-house is watching.

( Worth a plan if… )

+Your store is trading and downtime costs real money

+You have a backlog of small improvements nobody gets to

+Something breaks and you don’t know who to call

+You want steady progress rather than another big project

( You don’t need us if… )

You need a large build. That’s a project, not a retainer

You want unlimited work for a small monthly fee

Your store is quiet and a few hours a year would do

Somewhere in between? Tell us how the store is set up and we’ll suggest the smallest plan that actually covers you.

/ How a month works

Watch, maintain, improve, report.

Predictable rhythm: we watch, we fix, we improve one thing, we tell you what we did.

01

Continuous

Watch

Uptime, speed, checkout and key journeys monitored. Most months we notice something before you do.

02

Weekly

Maintain

App and theme updates applied on a staging copy first, small bugs fixed, security and integrations kept honest.

03

Monthly

Improve

One meaningful improvement a month from a backlog we keep with you: a page, a flow, a fix that’s been nagging.

04

Monthly

Report

A short note on what changed, what the numbers did, and what we think is worth doing next. No dashboards nobody reads.

On every project, in writing:  [ You see the work as it happens ]  [ A short note every Friday ]  [ Founder on every call ]  [ Everything in your accounts ]  Why we work this way →

/ In plain terms

Shopify maintenance, explained

Shopify handles the servers, so store maintenance isn’t about patching software. It’s about everything layered on top. Apps update and break each other. Theme edits pile up and slow the site down. Integrations quietly stop syncing. Checkout breaks on one browser and nobody notices for a fortnight. A care plan means someone is watching those things continuously and fixing them before they show up in your revenue.

The other half is progress. Most stores have a list of small improvements that never becomes a project big enough to justify a quote, and so never happens. We keep that backlog with you and take one item a month, which over a year adds up to more than most redesigns do. If your store needs a bigger intervention than that, we’ll say so. Usually that means a store audit first, or a rebuild if the foundations have run out of road.

/ FAQ ( 07 )

What people ask before signing up.

What does a Shopify maintenance plan include?

Monitoring, updates, bug fixes, a named contact, priority response, and one improvement project a month. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

How much does ongoing Shopify support cost?

Plans start at $2,500 a month. What changes between plans is response time and how much improvement work is included, not how much we care.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Month to month, cancel whenever. Most clients stay for years, which we’d rather earn than lock in.

What counts as an emergency?

Anything stopping people buying: checkout failures, the store down, a broken integration. Those jump the queue and we start immediately.

Do you work with our in-house developer?

Often. We’ll cover what they don’t have time for, review their work if that’s useful, and stay out of the way otherwise.

Can we pause during a quiet season?

Yes, though monitoring stops when you pause. Most seasonal clients keep a smaller plan running through the off-season instead.

What if we need a bigger project?

We quote it separately as a fixed-fee project. Retainer hours don’t quietly become a redesign. That’s how both sides end up disappointed.

Want to know whether your current setup is being looked after properly? Ask us. We’ll be honest if you don’t need us.
